The Bible is full of instances of supernatural healing by God and His son Jesus. We may hear of or see instances of miraculous and unexplainable healing in the world around us, but how does that really happen?
Take for instance when Jesus resurrected Lazarus. He had been in the grave for several days, and certainly long enough for his body to begin serious disintegration. Then Jesus came and gestured to Lazarus’ open tomb, and calls him out. He immediately walked out, still wrapped with grave clothes, to
the utter astonishment of everyone there.
As in the numerous other instances when Jesus healed and resurrected others, the regeneration of healthy living body tissue was instantaneous and complete. Think about that for just a moment; we may just accept a couple simple words to describe it, but look at what really happened. Hundreds of billions of destroyed, dead and ruptured cells were suddenly regenerated, right down to the atomic level, and made alive again.
Think of the 100+ billion brain cells with specific configurations and neuron connections that once again suddenly contained a whole lifetime of memories, including character and personality traits, all instantly programmed and made functional again. Nerves and blood vessels and flesh suddenly function and flow and live healthy again.
I hope you are just a little curious regards how God does all this in our dimension, but from within a totally imperceptible spiritual dimension!! God is operating at speeds, depth, and precision that our minds can’t even conceive of. In 1 Corinthians 2:9, Paul tried to capture the essence of God’s miracles and His plans for us: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.” Wow!
